MBCAA Information Hub

MBCAA is developing an Information Hub – a trusted space where people can easily find reliable, curated information about MBC, with links to existing resources. To ensure it reflects the needs of our community, we're holding a series of online co-design workshops – and we’d love for you to be involved.

We’re inviting people with lived experience of MBC, their carers, family members/friends, and health professionals to take part.

Online workshop details
For people with lived experience, carers, family members/friends:

  • Friday 25 July and Friday 1 August

  • 10:30am – 2:30pm AEST (with a short break)

  • We ask that participants attend both sessions if possible

For health professionals:

  • Friday 8 August

  • 5:00pm – 7:30pm AEST

If you’re interested, please complete our short expression of interest (EOI) form by Monday 7 July. We’ll review the EOIs and contact selected participants.

CanForum 2025

CanForum is Rare Cancers Australia’s annual advocacy conference, designed to challenge thinking, educate and inspire attendees, and advocate for change to improve care and outcomes for everyone affected by cancer.  

It brings together leading experts in research, healthcare, biotech, policy and lived experience. Register to attend CanForum to hear about the big opportunities and challenges in providing the best care to people diagnosed with cancer, including hearing first-hand from patients about their experiences.

San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium

The Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation is offering travel scholarships for consumer advocates to attend the Alamo Advocate Program, which runs alongside the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS). We’d love to see more Australian advocates represented at this global event.⁠

Opportunity to design cancer peer support groups in Queensland

Cancer Council Queensland is looking for women who have a current or previous cancer diagnosis and/or are currently caring or supporting a family member or friend with cancer (or have previously done this).

They invite you to participate in a focus group to share your needs, preferences and ideas for a peer support group for women impacted by cancer.
